Chemical Applicator/
Spray Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides to lawns, trees, shrubs, and landscape beds according to label instructions.
• Safely operate spray rigs, backpack sprayers, and other chemical application equipment.
• Inspect properties to identify weeds, pests, and diseases, and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Maintain accurate records of chemical usage, application dates, and areas treated.
• Follow all state and federal regulations regarding chemical handling and storage.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of spray equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and explaining treatment processes when needed.
• Assist landscaping crews as needed when not performing chemical applications.

Skills

• Must have valid SC driver's license
• Must have at least 1+ year(s) of professional experience in lawn maintenance field
